A Summertime Cantigny Engagement Session
A Cantigny engagement session is picture-perfect any time of year! But there’s something magical about portraits at Cantigny’s beautiful gardens in the height of summer. Allie and Jack chose the perfect night for photos! It was hot, but there was just enough wind to keep things nice and cool. I felt a little giddy, wandering around the beautiful Cantigny grounds with these two. At one point, Allie said, “It feels like we’re in the French countryside!” I couldn’t agree more!
Engagement sessions are the perfect time for me to get to know my couples, and I loved learning more about Allie and Jack and the things they love! It turns out that one of them was the star of a TV commercial… when they were a toddler! (You’ll have to guess who it was!) These two are planning a breathtaking wedding day in Chicago next summer, and it was so much fun to hear about their plans! We are so excited to meet their family and friends and capture their Chicago wedding!
