Sarah and Jacob’s Spring Wedding at Independence Grove

Sarah and Jacob’s springtime Independence Grove wedding in Libertyville, Illinois was absolutely breathtaking! Independence Grove is such a beautiful venue, no matter the season. However, I think we especially appreciated the beauty of Sarah and Jacob’s wedding day because there was a threat of thunderstorms for most of their day… but during their portraits, the sun came out and stayed out for the rest of their day! In a perfect world, this sweet couple would have transported all of their friends and family to California, for a wedding underneath a canopy of redwoods! So what a dream to be able to get married in such a beautiful place, surrounded by their closest family and friends, underneath a blue sky and golden sun. It was such a dreamy day for these two!

Sarah and Jacob are two truly special people. This might have been the longest stretch of time I’ve been booked for a wedding date (2+ years!), and all of my interactions with these two have been absolutely lovely. I kept thinking to myself throughout the day, “I’m so glad we get to be here!” We so appreciated being warmly welcomed by their families, and some of the moments we were able to capture will be imprinted in my mind for a long, long time (especially photos of Sarah and her sweet Bubbe).

This springtime wedding at Independence Grove was artfully planned and coordinated by Chelsea of The Gilded Aisle, and we loved working with Mark of Wynn Films, Rachel from Toast and Jam, and Tiffany with Events at Independence Grove. What a dream team of vendors, working with a dream team of a couple!
