Monika + John | A Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook Wedding

It’s been a few days since Monika and John’s bright and colorful wedding at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook, but the love and JOY of their beautiful wedding day is still fresh in my mind! It’s been well over a year since these two have been planning and dreaming up what they wanted their wedding day to look like, and it was a dream for us to get to to be a part of it!

Monika and John started their wedding day in the Hyatt Lodge’s gorgeous suites. Monika and her ladies popped champagne and confetti, while John and his guys toasted with whiskey, and John serenaded everyone on the hotels’ baby grand piano (he’s an incredibly accomplished pianist!). Their First Look took place on the Hyatt Lodge’s lovely grounds, and while it was a hot day (close to 90 degrees!!), there was a beautiful breeze, and the sunlight filtered through the canopy of trees, giving us the most gorgeous light for portraits! Their ceremony was beautiful, and their reception was an absolute DELIGHT — sweet and hilarious speeches, a photo booth, and so much laughter and joy all over the place. We loved working the whole vendor team, including Blair of BW Studio + Events, who coordinated the day flawlessly and helped us in a million ways!
