Your session will include traditional posing, plus lifestyle and documentary imagery. I direct a lot, so you’ll always know what to do or where to look. I shoot fast, I engage with your kids, and we’ll work together to capture beautiful, authentic, lovely images that you will love and treasure <3

Upon booking, I’ll send you a list of my favorite locations in the Chicagoland area, depending on the season and time of day that you choose for your session. There are a million places where we can find magical light. I recommend shooting near sunset or as close to sunrise as possible, but I’m happy to accommodate your schedule (and the time of day that your babies are happiest 😉

You’ll receive your photos in 14 days or less! All galleries include 50+ images, and are delivered with a print release, so you can enjoy them however you like.

Do you photograph extended families? I’m happy to accommodate larger extended families 🙂

Do you photograph newborns? Yes! In-home newborn lifestyle sessions are some of my favorite, intimate sessions.

What if the weather looks questionable on the day of my session? We’ll keep our eyes on the forecast, and I’ll make the call to reschedule if necessary!

What if my kids are crabby? First of all: I keep things very fun and positive! If a little one isn’t into photos (which is often the case!), I have lots of tricks to turn those frowns upside down 🙂 Above all, I encourage parents to stay positive and excited! Threats or stern words don’t usually work during a photo session — but I’ll do my very best to win over any grumpy kids, and we’ll have a great time together!
