Sarah + Jeff | A Classic Lake Forest Wedding

I heard someone from the bridal party say it as we were taking Sarah and Jeff’s portraits at Lake Forest’s Elawa Farm: “You two were made for each other!” That is absolutely, without a doubt, 100% true!! These two fit together perfectly: from how Sarah folds right into Jeff’s arms, to the way that Jeff looks at Sarah, or how Sarah speaks so sweetly and sincerely about Jeff. Plus, whenever I’m around Sarah and Jeff, I’m smiling! That’s just the kind of people they are! (If you know them, you know exactly what I mean!!)

Like everyone else getting married in 2020, Sarah and Jeff’s wedding day didn’t look exactly as they had originally planned… but it turned out to be the kind of wedding day that dreams are made of!! Sarah and Jeff have the kindest friends and family, people who are supportive and wonderful and so much fun to be around! They had us laughing all day long! Sarah and Jeff started the day at the beautiful and historic Deerpath Inn, moved on to their ceremony at Christ Church of Lake Forest, continued on to portraits at the lovely Elawa Farm, and ended the evening with a stunning tented reception, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

I’ve had the chance to spend a bit of time with Sarah and Jeff (we had an engagement session together, plus a bonus champagne shoot, which was so much fun!!), and I can honestly say that these two are the real deal!! I’m such a fan of these two people right here, and I’m so excited to share these highlights from their beautiful wedding day!!
