Chic City Wedding at the Dalcy | Alexis + Jimmy

Here’s the thing about Alexis and Jimmy — these two are impressively and quietly confident, and it shows in everything they do! Together with talented Rosanna from Rosanna & Co, they planned a beautiful, heartfelt Chicago wedding celebration at the Dalcy, and we couldn’t have had more fun with these two!

Celebrating an elegant Dalcy wedding for Alexis and Jimmy kicked off with a first look on the Trump Hotel’s rooftop, followed by portraits in the hotel – think marble pillars, floor-to-ceiling windows, and all the pre-ceremony excitement captured in every frame. After portraits, they headed to their ceremony at Assumption Catholic Church, followed by the short trip back to Fulton Market. There, cocktail hour unfolded atop Abba Restaurant’s rooftop, where blackberry-sage cocktails and Mediterranean-inspired bites paired perfectly with sweeping skyline views.

Then came the main event: dinner and dancing in The Dalcy’s industrial-chic loft, a 3rd-floor celebration space glowing under Edison bulbs and warm uplighting. The Dalcy’s staff is second to none in the care that they give to their guests, and I’m absolutely obsessed with the chandeliers, quiet corners, and dramatic lighting that this iconic Chicago wedding venue is known for. By night’s end, Alexis and Jimmy capped off their day in true Chicago style—part timeless tradition, part urban flair, and 100% joy.
