Jen and Nate’s Autumn Engagement Session at Fullersburg Woods

Jen and Nate’s autumn engagement session at Fullersburg Woods happened at almost the very peak of fall color here in Illinois! The woods can be dark, and normally I have to be pretty strategic about where I photograph when we’re walking through the forest. But at Jen and Nate’s engagement session, the trees were alive with bright yellows, oranges, and vibrant greens! And this was exactly what Jen wanted for their session!

I really loved walking the trails with these two, looking for beautiful light and chatting with them about wedding plans and the things they love! Jen and Nate love camping and being outside. They laughed as they told me about the time they went camping on a frigid, windy weekend in December! How impressive is that?! They also love simple, beautiful things, and it’s obvious that Nate is happiest when Jen is wrapped up in his arms. Jen is smart and beautiful and fun, and I love what these two have going on together! Their wedding next fall is going to be absolutely wonderful, and we can’t wait to celebrate with them then!
