When Colleen and Bob decided on Cuba Marsh Nature Preserve for their engagement session location, I was so excited! I don’t often get to photograph in Lake County, but the natural areas there are just dreamy, especially on a warm summer evening, and this location was absolutely stunning! Not to mention, I got to meet Colleen and Bob in person! These two were so much fun to photograph! They brought along their beautiful pup, Bri, a springer spaniel with the sweetest, most energetic personality, and it was so much fun to capture portraits of the three of them together!

Bob and Colleen have been together for almost six years, and Bob proposed to Colleen quietly, on a walk with Colleen (and Bri, of course!). Little did she know, he had an amazing surprise party planned for her, with all of the people they loved the most waiting at a local brewery nearby to help them celebrate their engagement!
