The Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook is such a stunning venue for a wedding! There are so many beautiful areas for photos, and the setting is truly breathtaking! Because of its gorgeous wooded setting, whenever I’m there, it almost feels like we’re somewhere in the mountains, a little hideaway right in the middle of the Chicago suburbs! We had perfect weather on Meghan and Tony’s wedding day, which allowed us to make good use of the property, with portraits all over the beautiful grounds! It was such a dream!
There are So! Many! Things! I love about Meghan and Tony, but one thing that really stands out to me is the deep friendship that they have between them. They’ve known each other for a long, long time, and the best way I can describe it is that when they’re together, it’s like they’re home. These two are smart and creative and resourceful and FUN! They live in a gorgeous home that’s over a hundred years old, and they’re working on renovating it together (along with their sweet pup, Luna!), so it made perfect sense to do their first look and a few quick portraits there, before heading back to the Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook for their wedding ceremony. There were so many elements that made their wedding unique: custom bouquets from Poppy, the most amazing suits from INDOCHINO, a stunning arbor designed and built by Tony himself (!!), and more. This wedding was one for the books, and we were so thrilled to be a part of their wedding celebration.
Enjoy these highlights from Meghan and Tony’s beautiful wedding day!
