It feels like we’ve been photographing Ripki and Bryan for forever and ever… which is the BEST, because these two are incredible, lovely, wonderful people to be around! They have been on the biggest roller-coaster of a wedding journey, and it finally culminated this past Saturday with an incredible wedding reception at the gorgeous Chez Hotel in Arlington Heights!

We first got in touch back in 2019 (can you believe it?!), and Marty and I photographed their Milwaukee engagement session in early 2020, riiight before the world shut down (!!). Their 2020 wedding was postponed until Spring of 2021, and we finally were able to celebrate with their family and friends at their stunning wedding reception on April 30th, 2022! WOW, what a journey these two have been on! I have watched them handle disappointment and setbacks and curveballs with grace and poise and incredible love for the people around them. Marty and I are so honored to know them, so grateful that they trusted us to capture their Indian wedding with all of its beautiful complexities and traditions, and so happy to call them our friends!
