This Wilder Mansion engagement session was truly a dream for me. I great up in Elmhurst and spent my childhood lugging books in and out of this iconic white building… because it used to be Elmhurst Public Library! And so, when Jessica told me she was looking for somewhere that was clean and classic, we decided on Wilder Park, and I’m so glad we did!

I really love this sweet, wonderful couple! Jessica and Nico have a gorgeous late fall wedding planned for this year, and we wanted to sneak in engagement photos for their save-the-dates, even though it was early spring and the world still hadn’t quite warmed up! After cancelling once, we settled on a quiet weekday afternoon at Wilder Mansion in Elmhurst and hoped for the best. The weather forecast was clouds clouds clouds, all day long… but as soon as our session started, the beautiful sun came out and things were GOLDEN! I had such a fun time with these two, getting to know them better and chatting about their wedding plans. Jessica is such a beauty, and Nico really (really) loves her!! It’s the sweetest thing!!
