Mayslake Peabody Estate was the perfect location for Lisa and Bryant’s engagement session! Even though things aren’t quite blooming in the Chicago area, the estate grounds are so beautiful, and the sun was OUT and gorgeous for their entire session! Give me creamy light, filtering through pine trees, and I’m so stinkin’ happy! Besides that, I got to meet Lisa and Bryant in person, and it was absolutely lovely to spend time with them! Lisa is the sister of my dear friend Rachael Watson of Rachael Watson Photography. Rachael has been such an incredible support and encouragement to me in my photography journey — I can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am today without her generosity and incredible kindness. SO, I am so excited to photograph Lisa’s wedding! Lisa’s whole family is amazing!

Lisa and Bryant are the kind of people you feel at total ease with! I always love to see the little ways that my couples interact with each other, and Lisa and Bryant are clearly, obviously, head over heels in LOVE! They have a deep respect and admiration for each other, and it shows! I loved photographing Lisa’s megawatt smile (WOW), and the way Bryant looked at her — SO SO SWEET!
