Megan and Ryan met online (yay!!) two years ago, and they fell for each other FAST! Last summer, Megan’s Uncle Marty married them in a park — just the three of them were present, and it was simple and beautiful! And even though elopements and micro-weddings are all the rage, I’m so glad Megan and Ryan decided to have a big wedding celebration just about a year later… because we all got to experience the joy of celebrating their beautiful marriage! They chose the stunning Eagle Ridge Resort in beautiful Galena, Illinois for their venue. In a room filled with their closest family and friends, with sunlight streaming in, Uncle Marty again walked them through a simple ceremony and they pledged their lives to each other. Their flower girls held up their vows (cutest thing ever, scroll down to see it!), and the JOY present in that room was obvious to everyone there! It was a delight to document such a sweet and beautiful wedding day. (And on top of it all, I got to see two of my past couples, Natalie and Doug, and Danielle (we missed you Sean!!)! This family is absolutely wonderful! I’m so excited for Megan and Ryan as they begin this new chapter of their life together!
